BUT... first the good news that Dinara did manage to defend her doubles title in Gold Coast, together with Agnes Szavay. They beat Yan Zi and Zheng Jie 6-1 6-2.
 
At next week's Medibank International Dinara will face Daniela Hantuchova in the first round.

Dinara won her second round match against Flavia Penetta 6-4 2-6 6-4.
In the quarterfinals though, she lost to Shahar Peer 6-4 1-6 6-7(8) after having 5 matchpoints... This means she will lose points as she won the tournament last year.
Next, she will play the Medibank International at Sydney.

No, I haven't forgotten about this community! I've just been very lazy.
But with the new season having started, I have new motivation so here we are!
Dinara has started her season in Goldcoast, where she started her previous season with the single and double title.
She has won her first round match against Jarmila Gajdosova with 4-6 6-1 6-2.

Hey everybody! I'm Anna and i'm 14 years old. I've been into tennis for more than 2 years now and right away, I was a Dinara fan. I was a Marat fan before I came to find out that he had a sister and I began to watch her matches and her results and I just totally grew to love her. :D Other players I like are Tatiana Golovin, Maria Sharapova, Camille Pin, Marion Bartoli, Maria Kirilenko, Igor Andreev, Donald Young, Andy Roddick, Arnaud Clement, Richard Gasquet... and like 50 million more.
Dinara is now in the semifinals of the Kremlin Cup (Tier I)!

2R: def. Chakvetadze 7-6 6-2
QF: def Zvonareva 6-2 3-6 6-3
And she will play Elena Dementieva in the semi finals tommarow first on center court! Davai Dina!
As for doubles, she has been playing with Elena Likhovtseva and so far, they are doing quite well together as the 3rd seeded team.
